The Srila Prabhupada Temple of Devotion in partnership with Food For Life Africa and the River Range Ranch Goshala will be hosting a series of programmes and festivals at the River Range Ranch in Redcliffe, Verulam on Sunday, 7 August at 10am.
The director and chairman of the board FFLA, HG Ramkinkar das said the organisations will jointly host the Go-puja and Go-dhaan festivals and other programmes to commemorate Women’s Day and All Souls Day.
He said: “We invite members of the public, communities of all faith based organisations, temples, mosques, churches, NGOs, SAPS, private security, women’s organisations to be part of this historic celebration in a village setting. To kick off Krishna Janmastami and Srila Prabhupada Appearance Day on Sunday, 21 August 2022, a copy of the Bhagavat Gita was presented to the reigning king of the Zulu nation, King MisuZulu KaZwelithini who fully supports the mission and goals of Food For Life Africa. His Majesty appreciated the gift and found it very interesting, informative and full of wisdom.”
He added that a sumptuous lunch will be served at the end of the festivals. “We look forward to your presence and participation,” said Ramkinkar das.
