Crowning glory for Mrs India Worldwide SA

The glitz, glamour, and grandeur of the Miss Teen NKZN and Mrs India Worldwide SA pageant finale lit up Ladysmith on Saturday evening, 28 June, at the YHCSS hall. A full house watched as the evening unfolded with elegance, high energy, and heartfelt moments.

Adding to the sparkle of the grand finale was the charismatic emcee Bash with Tash, who kept the crowd entertained throughout and brought extra magic to the crowning ceremony.
Young Michael Jackson impersonator, Jeremiah Ranjit, one of the Ladysmith Herald’s most-viewed performers on social media, wowed the audience with his signature performance of Billie Jean, adding a unique flair to an already unforgettable night.

Special award winners for the Mrs India Worldwide SA pageant were Nita Singh, Kajal Singh, Sariksha Hariprasad, Riya Singh, Kiarah Ghirdari (crowned winner), and Rebekah Pillay.

Pageant Director Vimmi Ramdaas-Bachu expressed her heartfelt gratitude after the event’s success: “I would like to thank everyone and our sponsors for making this event a royal success.”

The night’s most emotional moment came when Kiarah Ghirdari was announced the winner. Speaking to the Ladysmith Herald, she said: “I was overwhelmed with joy to hear that I would be crowned.” Ghirdari was crowned by Shretha Rajnandan, the reigning Face of Mrs India Worldwide SA. Joining her on stage were Rebekah Pillay, crowned first runner-up and named Brand Ambassador, and Riya Singh, was second runner-up.

All eyes now turn to Mumbai, India, where the top winners will go on to represent South Africa later this year on the international stage.
