Phoenix Community Police Forum (CPF) Sub-Forum 5 is calling on residents and stakeholders to attend a Social Crime Awareness Imbizo aimed at addressing safety and security concerns in the community.
The meeting will bring together relevant safety and security structures to engage with residents and discuss crime-related challenges affecting local communities.
Residents from Palmview, Sastri Park, Brookdale, Trenance Manor and surrounding areas are encouraged to attend.
The Sub-Forum 5 team said community safety was a shared responsibility and urged residents to become actively involved in efforts to address crime. “The safety of Palmview, Sastri Park, Brookdale, Trenance Manor and surrounding communities is a responsibility we must share,” the team said.
“We cannot continue to talk about crime without taking action. We cannot wait for someone else to solve the problems affecting our families, our children, our homes and our neighbourhoods.”
The forum said the Imbizo would provide an opportunity for residents to raise concerns, engage with safety structures and work towards practical solutions to local crime and security challenges.
