The South Coast has a new attraction that has given life to the San Gabriel Road bridge in Warner Beach.

A mural, featuring horses running along the Sapphire Coastline as well as horse-back rides and scenery to the Nungwane Waterfalls situated in the heart of uMbumbulu, has been painted by local artist, Christine Andrews. Romy Wenzel from Sapphire Coast Tourism said the mural project will be among the main attractions.

“A special thank you to Justin Bateman and his friendly, helpful team from the Amanzimtoti Fire Brigade for always offering a helping hand in getting the walls cleaned, hosed down, prior to the commencement of the mural artwork, such great help indeed,” Wenzel said.

She added: “Please contact us if you, your business or organisation would like to support upcoming projects in order to continue adding colour, breathtaking artwork and positive vibes within the Sapphire Coast region.”
