DA Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation Jack Bloom is in eThekwini today for a two-day strategic oversight visit focused on water and sanitation service delivery.
This morning, Bloom visited the Phoenix Wastewater Treatment Works in Ottawa, where he met with officials to assess infrastructure and service delivery challenges.
He will continue his oversight visit in Verulam and surrounding areas, conducting inspections and engaging with residents about ongoing water and sanitation challenges, illegal water connections and interventions aimed at improving service delivery across affected communities.
