Montclair SAPS is investigating two separate cases of armed robbery after complainants were held up at gunpoint recently.
Communications officer at Montclair SAPS, Captain Derek Vijiam, said: “The complainant was performing his duties by delivering goods and he was on Bredell Road in Montclair when he was approached by two unknown men who accosted him at gunpoint. The complainant was threatened and the suspects forcibly took all cellphones from the vehicle and drove off.”
Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident, a complainant was walking on Blamey Road in Montclair, when he was approached by two unknown men armed with a firearm.
“The suspects threatened the complainant and removed his personal belongings which included his cellphone and wallet. The suspects ran off in an unknown direction. Police are investigating further,” Capt Vijiam said.
