A man believed to be in his twenties has been critically injured in a serious single vehicle accident on the N2 South bound before Umlazi.
A single vehicle had overturned multiple times, ejecting one occupant, before the vehicle came to rest on its wheels.
According to ALS Paramedics Medical Services, a man believed to be in his twenties was found in a critical condition and was stabilised on the scene before being rushed through to a nearby Durban hospital for the further treatment that he required.
One other person sustained moderate injuries and was stabilised on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.
The events leading up to the accident are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
