Kloof Round Table 190 recently handed over blankets to Tholuthando Children’s Home in Embo in partnership with Round Table of Durban No.2 as part of their annual Winter Knight national initiative.
The Winter Knights Project is in partnership with car manufacturer and dealership Toyota, where organisations collect clothes blankets, food and cash donations for those who need it the most. On 20 May, 50 blankets were delivered to Tholuthando Creche. “With our Winter Knights Campaign currently underway, it warms our hearts to donate the blankets to help these well-deserving children who would otherwise face some bitterly cold nights. Making change, one blanket at a time.
We have collection points in the upper Highway area: SMG Toyota Hillcrest, Kloof Village Mall Spar and Jukes Pizza Westville,” said Matthew Hayes, chairman of the Kloof Round Table 190.
