TAFTA honours long-serving staff at recent awards ceremony

The Association for the Aged (TAFTA) recently honoured eight long-serving employees during its Staff Strategy Update, recognising their years of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to caring for older persons.

Held recently, the Long Service Awards celebrated staff members whose combined years of service reflect decades of compassion, loyalty and dedication to the organisation and the communities it serves.

The recipients were; Purity Khumalo and Nirusha Prakasim, who each marked 25 years of service; Abel Morgan Naicker and Pauline Mbokazi, who celebrated 20 years; Rajesh Harilall, Marcelle Kriel and Asogan Rupert Pillay, who each reached 15 years; and Jacqueline Snyman, who was recognised for 10 years of service.

TAFTA management said that every year of service represents lives touched, meaningful relationships built and an unwavering commitment to providing older persons with care, compassion and dignity.

The organisation thanked the recipients for their loyalty and dedication, saying their passion and commitment continue to inspire colleagues and strengthen TAFTA’s mission of enriching the lives of older people.

The awards were held to celebrate employees whose dedication has made a lasting impact on the lives of the elderly, with TAFTA reaffirming its message of “Sisonke – We Are Together.”
