    The Netcare 911 helicopter airlifted the seriously injured teen to a medical facility for urgent care

    A 15-year-old learner was critically injured and had to be airlifted to hospital after she was rammed by a mini-bus taxi at the corners of Park Station and North Coast Road in Greenwood Park, on Wednesday morning.

    Netcare 911 responded to the scene and media liaison officer, Shawn Herbst, said: “Reports indicate that a 15-year-old female had been struck down by a mini-bus taxi. The patient was assessed on-scene and found to have sustained serious traumatic injuries. The patient was treated on-scene by a Netcare 911 emergency care practitioner and once stabilised, was flown by the Netcare 911 helicopter to a specialist facility for the urgent care she required.”
