Phoenix is gearing up for the ultimate car enthusiast experience as Starwood Mall proudly presents their first-ever car show: “Rev it up this July” which will take place on the roof top parking on Saturday, 20 July, from 9am until late.
This landmark event promises to captivate car enthusiasts and promises to be a high-octane celebration filled with jaw-dropping cars, thrilling competitions, and vibrant entertainment that will leave you revved up and wanting more. Some of the event highlights include a show and shine competition: witness automotive beauty and craftsmanship at its finest, featuring eight distinct classes – classic, old school, 90s, 2000s, engine bay, boot setup, stance and wheels.
This competition will see the top three in each class awarded with prestigious trophies. Judging and the grand presentation of awards will take place around 6pm, providing a spectacular end to the day.
Feel the power of sound with our extensive sound off competition, featuring 20 classes based on the number and sizes of speakers, amplifiers, and batteries. From beginners to advanced competitors, this event ensures everyone has a chance to showcase their sound systems.
The top three in each class will be awarded, along with special recognition for the overall three highest decibels.
Experience the thrill of seeing cars’ performance measured on one of only two Mobile Dynos in South Africa. Competitors will have their cars tested for kilowatts and Newton meters of torque, with each participant receiving a special participation trophy.
Members of the public can enjoy a wide variety of delicious food and beverages at the rooftop stalls, operated by Starwood Superspar. They will be offering an array of tasty treats including burgers, wors, cool-drinks, popcorn and savouries to keep you fuelled throughout the day.
You can start your day with dynamic fitness sessions hosted by the Fitness Evolution team, and enjoy vibey music and entertainment throughout the day. Hosted by a vibrant MC, the event will feature a stage setup for performances and announcements, ensuring non-stop excitement. Entry for all spectators and visitors is completely free.
