
A group of residents from various communities, from the north to the south of Durban, were left feeling refreshed and elated after an exhilarating five-day trip to Mpumalanga.
Director of Ananzi Marketing and Travel and tour co-ordinator, Marlin Veerasamy said the group consisted of residents from Phoenix, Chatsworth, Westville, Reservoir Hills, Overport stretching all the way to Johannesburg, both young and old. Some of the highlights of their journey included exploring the Kruger National Park en-route Phabeni Gate and out Skukuza Gate T3, where residents spent an entire day. Other highlights were the Gods window, The Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, Pinnacle Rock, and the brand new opening of the Graskop Gorge along the Panaroma route.
The residents thanked Veerasamy for the amazing stay. Mrs Reddy said: “Thank you for taking my family and I on an amazing journey to Mpumalanga and other parts of the country. We thoroughly enjoyed our journey and we will certainly be coming back with you for more. You were extremely helpful in every way and always tried your best to accommodate every person on-board. “We must also commend you on the meals you served, the food was fantastic and we had a variety of different dishes daily.” Mr Abdul said: “Your knowledge of South Africa is tremendous and we were very lucky to have someone that knows the demographics of South Africa and its well known diversity and being part of the South African Tourism and SATSA as well as KZN Tourism National Incubatee made a big difference to us and made us feel very comfortable at all times with you,” said. “The Graskop Gorge was the most amazing place I have ever been to, thank you Mr and Mrs Veerasamy for everything you have done to make us feel so comfortable. We will forever remember this journey and outing filled with only the best experiences,” said Mrs Mohammed.
