Bellair SAPS has confirmed that a woman and her 13-year-old son were killed after they were stabbed during an altercation in their home in Seaview, on Friday.
It is believed that an altercation resulted in a family member stabbing both the mother and child, killing them. The mother was found inside the home, while the body of her son was found outside.
Distraught family members at the scene declined to comment. Bellair SAPS communications officer, Sgt M Pillay said two people, a 52 year old woman and a minor had been confirmed dead at the scene.
Police are currently at the scene conducting their investigation.
