Former Mayor of Alfred Duma Municipality, Vincent Madlala, who is facing charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition as well as defeating the ends of justice, will see his case being moved to the Regional Court.
Madlala appeared in the Ezakheni Magistrate’s Court for the third time on Friday, 28 January. He was arrested and charged at his home in July last year along with his daughter, Sanelisiswe Madlala. It is reported that the State is currently conducting further investigations. The court date is set for 30 March.
