A man in his 20s died after a single-vehicle crash on Higginson Highway last week.
According to Sivan Subramodey, owner of Amawele Emergency Services, the crash occurred on the eastbound carriageway before the Croftdene off-ramp.

“Amawele Emergency Services was first on the scene. It appears that the vehicle lost control while negotiating a bend, overturned multiple times and came to rest on its roof inside a nearby informal settlement. The driver, an Indian male believed to be in his 20s, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash,” said Subramodey.

He added that paramedics assessed the driver, who was found on top of a shack approximately 20 metres away from the vehicle.
