The winter cold has moved the founder of humanitarian aid organisation Religion Without Borders, Vishnu Govender, to embrace children from Flamingo Heights, with warmth at the Peace Park in Flamingo Heights, Tongaat recently.
Icy winds and decreasing temperatures moved Govender to gift the children in Flamingo Heights with new jackets to help withstand the fall in temperature.
Govender said: “RWB encouraging a society of self-sustaining individuals whereby the individuals’ minimal contribution together with the sponsor’s generosity paves the way for such self-sustaining societies of individuals and families, where differences are celebrated, transcending deep-rooted wounds of history, paving the way for a future, where coexistence is not just an aspiration, but a reality. RWB is paving the way for sponsors to meet the destitute in a safe, sustainable and appreciative environment, where our common interests outweigh our differences.”
