Andante Primary School educators, Mr Julies and Ms Mtshali, recently accompanied six learners, Zakaria Essop, Cayden Love, Minenhle Hadebe, Mmangaliso Sithole, Onke Radebe and Nhlakanipho Ntuli, to Egerton Primary School for a chess tournament.
The learners gained some new skills and had fun at the same time. Zakaria, Cayden and Onke made it into the top eight, with Zakaria coming fourth overall. Andante Primary School came second out of five participating schools.
