Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to a horrific crash along the R34 towards the Bloodriver area on Saturday evening, 24 July.
When emergency services arrived they found that two bakkies had crashed. One person was tragically killed and two others had to be treated for serious injuries sustained in the crash. Jaws of life had to be used to free the entrapped passengers. Those injured were stabilised then taken to the nearest hospital. Police are conducting a case of culpable homicide and investigating the cause of the crash.
