Zamir Sherriff, a tech savvy computer wiz who is on his way to making his mark in the world of social media, is constantly evolving in the tech world. His most recent additions to the world of technology are a new social media app called Shout and eezishop, which is designed to help users buy, sell, rent and exchange in one click.

“Shout is a social networking app which is available on the Google Play store where users can post videos, images and text. Users can also ‘like’, share and comment as well as view profiles and chat privately with each other. There is also an option for creating groups and group chats. It is a user friendly app with a lot of features, one of which allows users to add hashtags to display trending and related topics. It is versatile and easy to use,” explained Sherriff. Another of his latest apps is ezzishop which is designed to assist businesses. “I came up with this concept during the lockdown since a lot of businesses have suffered because of the pandemic and the lockdown which is currently active. Many businesses have also closed down while others are struggling to stay afloat. The SME and SMME community has really felt the brunt of this,” explained Sherriff, 42, whose idea was to bridge the gap between consumer and supplier. He went on to explain that having an online presence, as well as creating and developing websites, is expensive and a lot of companies, like SME companies, cannot afford the costs involved. “So eezishop and Shout were designed to assist them. Shout is a social platform developed so that all SMEs can have a specific platform to advertise. Eezishop was designed to assist in creating an online presence. It has a feature where a business or individual can go onto the app and register. There is an option to create a store on there and list their store with contact details to begin selling their products,” he added. Both Apps are available on the Google Play store.
