Phoenix police are investigating a case of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition after a 25-year-old suspect from Mount Moriah was arrested with a 9mm pistol CZ P-07 with a black and orange empty magazine and one live round of ammunition inside the pistol.
Phoenix SAPS communications officer, Captain Louise Naidoo,said: “The pistol is positive on a Greenwood Park case for theft. Arresting officers Cst Shozi and Cst Mthembu entered the exhibits in the SAP 13 register.”
