A motorist was killed in a single-vehicle accident on the M13 near the N3 Paradise Valley interchange on Tuesday night.
Just before 7:30pm, ALS Paramedics responded to the scene of the crash. Spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said paramedics arrived to find extensive wreckage.
“ALS paramedics found that a single vehicle had rolled multiple times before coming to rest on its roof. The driver, believed to be in his 30s, sustained fatal injuries. Despite efforts to assess him, there was nothing paramedics could do and he was declared deceased at the scene,” Jamieson said.
The cause of the crash is not yet known. SAPS attended the scene and will investigate further.
