Seatides resident and teacher Sheona Maharaj is joyfully celebrating her first Mother’s Day with her five-month-old son, Shay.
On Sunday, 11 May, families across South Africa and worldwide will honour mothers, recognising their vital role in providing love, support, and guidance.
Mothers nurture and protect their children, offering physical, emotional, and moral care. They often take on multiple roles, including caregiver, teacher, and mentor, teaching life lessons and values while maintaining harmony within the household.
