A 4-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital after falling out of a window at Carlton Towers, 80 Somtseu Road, North Beach.
Shaun Herbst Netcare 911 spokesperson confirmed the incident saying: “Paramedics responded to a call and upon arrival at the scene, they found that the child had landed on his head and was in a critical condition. The child required an emergency care practitioner to have him stabilised.”
Herbst said, according to witnesses, the child was playing with others when he accidentally fell. “Due to the nature of his injury, the Netcare 911 helicopter was called to airlift the child to a nearby hospital,” said Herbst.
