Chatsworth residents were treated to a weekend full of fun, entertainment and prizes at the Child Welfare Chatsworth Charity Fair which took place on 27 April to 1 May at the Chatsworth Stadium Circus Site.
Despite the CWC Charity Fair being left without fun fair rides this year, residents came together in the true spirit of uBuntu to support the non-government organisation in raising much-needed funds. From delicious burgers to dainty dinky doughnuts, tummies were satisfied throughout the weekend while the flea market boasted an array of fashion-wear as well as cosmetics. Other activities at the fair included Xtreme Karting and an entertaining car show for car enthusiasts. A host of residents won prizes including pamper vouchers, Gold Rush vouchers as well as Pro Secure alarm systems while two lucky winners scooped themselves a trip to India. Organisers of the event on behalf of CWC thanked all patrons for coming through to support the event as well as all their major sponsors.
