A driver was left seriously injured after an alleged road rage incident on Inanda Road near the China Mall in Springfield Park earlier today, 7 August.

According to KZN VIP spokesperson, Gareth Naidoo, “Paramedics from KZN VIP Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the scene following reports of an injured person requiring urgent medical assistance. On arrival, it was established that an altercation had allegedly taken place between two motorists. During the confrontation, one of the drivers reportedly exited his vehicle and stabbed the other motorist.”
He said, “The victim sustained serious injuries and had lost a significant amount of blood before emergency services arrived. KZN VIP medics, assisted by personnel from other private emergency services, immediately treated and stabilised the patient at the scene before transporting him to a nearby medical facility for further emergency care.”
The circumstances surrounding the alleged road rage incident have not yet been confirmed and remain under investigation. All relevant emergency services responded to the scene.
