EThekwini deputy mayor, Councillor Zandile Myeni, recently visited the City’s Waste Management Depot in Springfield as part of Public Service Month activities led by the municipal executive.
The visit aimed to motivate employees to uphold the Batho Pele principles of putting people first, delivering quality service, and maintaining accountability.
Councillor Myeni praised the staff for their commitment to keeping the city clean, managing waste effectively, and ensuring that residents and visitors see the positive changes in eThekwini.
She also encouraged employees to continue taking pride in their work, noting that their contribution is vital in building a cleaner and more sustainable city.
