Ward 70 Councillor, Tony Govender, has applauded the Woodhurst Clinic for hosting a well-run and successful open day recently.
Aimed at educating the community, the clinic ran a wellness programme advising people about their health and how to spot worrying symptoms, that could point to illness. Govender, who was among the guests, said the programme arranged by Sister Bongi Msomi and her dedicated team went on without a hitch. “We wish to also thank our chairperson, Umar Singh and his dedicated team, together with Pastor Mickey, Kay Pillay, Sandra Zulu and the Darul Islamic Humanitarian Organisation for their kind sponsorship. The community were very pleased of the outcome of this open day and I’m sure there will be more on a yearly basis,” said Govender.
