A continuous sounding alarm at a Woodview residence led security company KZN VIP to find a suspect hiding under the furniture, recently.
Spokesperson for KZN VIP, Gareth Naidoo, said: “The VIP Command Centre received an alarm activation at a house on Viewhaven Drive. VIP Response Units were dispatched. The response officer noticed the alarm was still going off. He called for back-up and the owner of the premises was called to open up the premises. SAPS were also notified. A thorough search of the premises was conducted and a suspect was found inside the premises hiding under the furniture.” According to Naidoo, the suspect gained entry into the property through the roof. “The suspect was apprehended and handed over to the police for further investigation,” said Naidoo.
