A three-year-old Amangwe toddler was raped at her homestead by a male known to the family as her five-year-old brother was made to watch the act on Thursday morning, 14 October.
Amangwe SAPS, in the Loskop area, said that they were called to the homestead after the three-year-old’s brother allegedly witnessed a man rape his sister. The five-year-old brother told his mother after she arrived home from a funeral.
Police said that they were immediately contacted and statements were taken and the brother gave police a description of the man. It is alleged that the man is known to the family.
A case of rape is being investigated and no arrests have been made.
