
American motorcycle manufacturer, Harley-Davidson recently donated clothing and non-perishable food items to flood victims through their partnership with Westville non-profit organisation, The Robin Hood Foundation.
The much needed donation will be distributed to the destitute families residing in Stockville Informal Settlement in Pinetown, Northdene, Molweni, and at the1000 Hills.
Jane Knudsen of Harley-Davidson Durban said that as the brand they are not just about bikes and profit but they are also about family and community.
“Bikers have big hearts, the latest flooding in Durban has had devastating effects on so many people in so many ways. To this end, Harley Davidson Durban is committed to doing their part to support social responsibility and their community and as The Robin Hood Foundation gets to the people who really need help the most, we are proud to be able to support them in doing that,” said Knudsen.
