Located at the Musgrave Centre in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, the Checkers Fresh X store promises a premium shopping experience with top brands available at supermarket prices. Customers can look forward to: a meat market with free-range chicken and top-quality meats; a wine cellar with an extensive range of wines from around the world; fresh
flowers for every occasion; a bakery with artisan breads; Krispy Kreme; a coffee bar; a hot and cold foods deli for easy entertaining; and a money market counter.
Checkers Fresh X Musgrave, was opened on Thursday, 27 June, creating 84 new jobs and will be managed by KwaMashu’s Prince Ngema. To celebrate the launch, the store will be running a R5 000 trolley dash competition. To enter, a minimum spend of R350 is required
and the winners will be announced on Friday, 26 July, on the Musgrave Centre’s social media pages. Customers can find more information about the competition in-store.

Musgrave Centre’s portfolio marketing manager, Donald McLellan, said it was a very exciting moment for him and the Musgrave team as the centre now boasts four grocery anchors – Checkers, Woolworths, Food Lovers Market and Pick n Pay, offering convenience and competitive shopping.
“Soon we will be having an FNB branch opening in September and that means we will have all the the main banking facilities. Currently, we have an Absa , Standard Bank, and Nedbank and are hoping to have a Capitec Bank in the future. We now have a strong variety for ourshoppers,” added McLellan.
Checkers Musgrave trades from 8am to 8pm every day and shoppers
are invited to come and shop at one of the best Checkers stores in the entire
province.
