A South African Police chopper flies over the area, where the hiker had fallen

The body of a 60 year-old hiker was recovered by members of the Police Search and Rescue from Pietermaritzburg, Newcastle and Pretoria on Monday, 26 April, at Cathedral Peak in the Drakensberg. It is reported that the hiker had slipped and fallen down a steep slope. The hiker has not been officially identified as yet and police have opened an inquest into the incident.
