It was an incredible day of cricket for Westville Boys’ High School (WBHS) as they won against Maritzburg College and St Johns at Hilton on Friday, 24 September.

Thomas Jackson of WBHS said the U15 team’s boys had a great win against St John’s. “Well done boys on the wins,” said Jackson. He added that the WBHS firsts vs Maritzburg College firsts score was 263 runs over seven wickets, with Delport achieving 30 runs, Ngcobo 39, Guise-Brown 47, Gace 51, Jacobs 46 and Dunford with four over 68. In the second game, WBHS won by six wickets with the final score standing at 267 runs over four wickets. Kistna made 37 runs, Mohammed 79, Trevethan 70, Gopalan three and Rajakumar 36. In the 15A game WBHS won by eight wickets, the score was 170 over 10 runs for Maritzburg College, Mason achieved 68 runs, Kistna three over 32, and Jee with three over 36. For WBHS the final score was 174 over two and Kistna made 97 runs and Robertson made 44.
