Vaccinations for the documented and the undocumented continue at Denis Hurley Centre

The Denis Hurley Centre in partnership with the Department of Health are calling for those who wish to get vaccinated, documented or undocumented, to do so.

Raymond Pierre, director at DHC, said they are delighted to have worked closely with the health department to pilot a system which enables people without documents to get vaccinated.

“Vaccinations started last week and the department has confirmed that they will be offering this service at the DHC every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8.30am to about 2.30pm until the end of October.

“The only information that the person has to give is their name and date of birth, all information remains strictly protected within the DoH system and cannot be seen by any other part of government,” Pierre said.

He said there is no booking system and the queues are very short. “Even if you have documents and you want access to a speedy vaccination, you are most welcome.  Let’s try and get everyone in this country protected against Covid-19, ” concluded Pierre.
