Mystery surrounds the fatal shooting of a 47-year-old truck driver who was shot inside his truck at the Sezela sugar cane parking lot, recently.
Captain Adam Francis, the communications officer for Scottburgh SAPS, said the fatal shooting incident happened on Sunday, 24 October. He said Scottburgh SAPS responded to a complaint of gunshots at the Sezela sugar cane parking lot.
“It is alleged that a 47-year-old, sugar cane truck driver was in the parking bay in Sezela and he was shot while he was still in his seat. The driver succumbed to his injuries on the scene. SAPS Scottburgh is probing a case of murder.”
