Sponsors of the Virginia Airshow this year include Standard Bank and the uMhlanga Tourism organisation. Imraan Noorbhai, Standard Bank’s head of personal and private banking in KwaZulu-Natal, said: “The Durban Virginia Airshow has, for many years, brought KwaZulu-Natal’s aviation community together through an event that is a must-attend spectacle on the Durban calendar. Standard Bank is proud to be part of that legacy.”
Jeannie Sarno, the chairperson of the uMhlanga Tourism organisation, said they are extremely excited and proud to be a partner in the 2024 Durban Virginia Airshow.
“We know for sure that it will be well supported by the local community. As a tourism organisation, we also urge visitors from out of town to come down for the weekend and fill out the hotels, book at the restaurants, enjoy the show on Saturday, and take the family to local attractions on Sunday. This needs to be marketed as an unmissable annual event on the KwaZulu-Natal calendar. We will be at the airshow on Saturday promoting and marketing all that uMhlanga and surrounding areas have to offer. Stop by to pick up some brochures or ask questions. We are waiting for you,” said Sarno.
Gates open at 8.30am, with tickets priced at R140 for adults and R100 for those under 18. Due to limited availability, tickets can be purchased at Ticketpro or the gate on the day. Do not miss the chance to witness this unmissable annual event on the KZN calendar.
