One person was killed in a horrific accident involving a truck and a light delivery vehicle on the M7 West-bound, at the N2 interchange just before 12pm on Sunday, 7 November.
ALS Paramedics Medical Service spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson, said upon arrival on the scene, paramedics found that a truck had collided with a light delivery vehicle before the truck came to rest a few kilometres ahead on the South-bound on-ramp to the N2.
“Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that the driver of the light delivery vehicle, a male in his fifties, had sustained major injuries and there was nothing more paramedics could do for him and he was declared deceased on the scene. Events leading up to the accident are unknown, however, SAPS were on scene investigating further.”
