Nelson Mandela once said that Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. For Boxer and partners Vuma FM, this is the motivation behind a recent KZN school tour to donate a number of mobile libraries to further improve the learning capabilities for hundreds of pupils across the province.
Six schools were identified by Boxer to receive the literary donations which were donated with popular KZN station Vuma FM through the early weeks of February. “Our CSR team travelled from Pinetown to Nongoma delivering these important gifts to each school. As a proudly KZN company we are dedicated to improving the lives of our communities through a multitude of ways, and education is certainly one of those ways,” said Boxer Group Executive for Stakeholder Engagement and Sustainability, Ntombi Dludla.
The schools that received the mobile libraries were Isizinda Secondary (Pinetown), Isipingo Primary School (Isipingo), KwaMphikaziwa High School (Durban), St Nivard Primary (Umzinto), Isihlahlasenkosi High (Nongoma), and Enjabulweni Primary in Ladysmith.
