In celebration of World Hygiene Day, Busamed Gateway Hospital held a quiz session to inform the community in a fun and interactive manner.
World Hygiene Day, celebrated on 5 May annually, highlights one of the simplest yet most powerful acts to prevent illness and infection. The hospital used the week to raise awareness, with Joelene Ranjit, on behalf of the hospital, stating that the week stressed the importance of washing hands properly and ensuring they are clean at all times.
Those in attendance thanked the organisers for an insightful event. One of the attendees said: “It was incredibly educational and engaging, from the insightful demonstrations to the fun interactive quiz sessions. It was amazing seeing awareness being spread in such an impactful and enjoyable way, and I was fortunate enough to participate and even win a prize giveaway.
