The North Beach Community Policing Forum (CPF) is calling on dedicated community members who are willing to volunteer as Community in Blue.
Giga Essa, chairman of the Northbeach CPF said: “ The Community in Blue volunteers play an important role in supporting crime prevention initiatives and assisting SAPS and the CPF in creating a safer North Beach.
He said that all volunteers will be subject to a strict vetting process conducted by SAPS, where additional criteria and requirements must be met before acceptance.
“This initiative is for individuals who are committed, disciplined and law-abiding, with a genuine desire to serve the community. If you are passionate about community safety and want to make a positive difference, we encourage you to come forward,” Giga added.
He encouraged those who have interest to contact him so that they can get further details on 083 631 4878.
“Together, we can continue to keep North Beach safe,” said Giga.
