To commemorate Nelson Mandela Day, Phoenix Plaza has stepped up by sponsoring and installing two essential Jojo tanks at Phoenix Pioneer Primary School, addressing the critical water security needs of the school.
Arthie Chatterpal of the Phoenix Plaza said ensuring access to clean water is paramount. They are thrilled to contribute to the well-being of Phoenix Pioneer Primary’s learners and staff. She noted that these Jojo tanks will provide a reliable and long-lasting water source while fostering a healthier learning environment at Phoenix Pioneer Primary School.
“At Phoenix Plaza, we are all about serving our community and giving back. This initiative exemplifies our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others. By addressing water security at Phoenix Pioneer Primary School, we are helping to create a healthier, more sustainable environment for learners and staff to thrive.”

“Make a difference in the lives of the Phoenix community. Together, we can create a lasting positive impact. Let us celebrate Mandela Month by uniting for the betterment of our community. Let us work together to make a difference in the lives of others,” she added.
The principal of Phoenix Pioneer Primary expressed immense gratitude for the sponsored Jojo tanks and said: “We thank you for enhancing the education and activities that take place at the school. One thing is for certain, the school will not close because we do not have water. Thank you.”
