Sydenham schoolboy, Miguel Louw’s killer is to know his fate on Friday after his case was adjourned. Sentencing proceedings started at the Durban High Court on Monday and will continue on Friday, 16 March.
In December 2020, Mohammed Vahed Ebrahim, was found guilty on three counts, which include murder, kidnapping and theft. Miguel was found buried in a shallow grave in Phoenix after he went missing on 17 July 2018, in Sydenham. Ebrahim was arrested in December 2018. KwaZulu-Natal National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson, Natasha Kara, said the matter has been provisionally postponed to Friday, 16 April for sentencing.
