To commemorate World Aids Day, RK Khan Hospital will be hosting an outreach clinic on Friday, 30 November in association with various businesses in the Shallcross area.

The outreach clinic will be held from 8am to 2pm at the Shallcross Stadium.
“We are hosting the event at the stadium because last year we had quite a big turnout than we anticipated.

“This year, we want to accommodate a larger crowd. All testing will be free of charge and is open to all members of the public,” said Mbali Mthalane, RK Khan PRO.

Facilities available on the day will include, male medical circumcision,
pap smear, eye screening, an optometrist will be on site, dental screenings, a dentist will be on site, HIV/AIDS tests, tuberculosis tests, hypertension examinations and diabetic examinations.

The community is encouraged to join for the benefit of their health.
