An off-duty security officer was stabbed by a gang and his cellphone was stolen during a robbery in Phoenix on Saturday.
At approximately 7:01pm, RUSA members were on patrol in the area and located the victim lying near a pathway.
“The victim was bleeding excessively from a stab wound to his right leg. He explained that while walking home after work, he was accosted by four men who demanded his valuables. At some stage during the robbery, one the suspects stabbed the victim before they stole his cellphone and fled on foot. The victim was transported privately to hospital by his work colleague who arrived on scene a short while later,” said RUSA boss, Prem Balram.
The reaction officers conducted a search for the suspect, however, no arrests were made. RUSA members discovered the stabbed man lying on the pathway during a patrol
