Kamalinee Primary’s Foundation Phase learners which include Grade R to Grade three recently held a very successful ‘Grandparent’s Day’.

This annual event is held for learners to show their grandparents how much they are appreciated. Learners put on a special assembly that consisted of songs, poems and dances.

Grandparents also participated in a fashion show. They were also encouraged to participate in arts and crafts activities with their grandchildren and made creative photo frames.

“The day was a memorable experience for both the grandparents and their grandchildren as they spent quality time together. An enjoyable time was had by all. The school would like to place on record our thanks and appreciation to all Grandparents who attended and helped make this event a resounding success,” said Roxanne Muthoosamy Secretary / Financial Clerk.
