Dagga plants and a large consignment of loose dagga was found at a house in Madadeni Section 5, opposite a take away last week, ahead of the long Easter Weekend.

A container with loose dagga and 31 spokes weighing at 2,46 kg at a street value of approximately R3 000 was confiscated from the suspects.

As part of the Easter Weekend Crime Prevention, Amajuba SAPS Cluster went on a motorcade around Madadeni policing the area up to Etheku Plaza.

The police stopped at several hotspots and searched for any suspicious activities when suspects were also arrested.
