A pet owner in his 20s was attacked by his pitbull at his residence on Moss Road in the Bluff on Friday morning.

Rescue Care Operations Manager and Advanced Life Support Paramedic, Ceron Lennox, said, “Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the call just after 8am on Friday morning to find a man had been attacked by his pitbull allegedly whilst trying to break up a fight between the pitbull and a puppy. The man had sustained moderate injuries to multiple parts of his body and was stabilised on scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.”
