A male truck driver was left with moderate injuries after his vehicle overturned on Bluff Road just before 5pm on Wednesday, 18 August.
Kyle van Reenan spokesperson of Emer-G-Med Paramedics said upon arrival on scene paramedics found the truck and trailer lying on its side on the shoulder of the roadway.
“The driver and only occupant was found to have suffered moderate injuries and was treated and stabilised on scene. He later declined further hospital treatment.
“A bystander on the scene said, “It appeared as though the truck just fell over” as it passed through the traffic circle, however the local authorities were in attendance and will be conducting the necessary investigation accordingly,” said van Reenan.
