Eight school children with ages ranging between 7 and 12 years of age have been injured after a collision in Shallcross yesterday afternoon.
Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the corner of Klaarwater Road and Granada Street in the Shallcross area around 2:30pm on Tuesday afternoon. On arrival Paramedics found that the taxi was transporting school children home. A total of eight children had sustained minor injuries and were treated on scene before being transported to various Durban hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
