Phoenix based non-profit organisation, Reaching Women in conjunction with local lawyers will be offering members of the community an opportunity to draft their Wills at no cost.

Founder of Reaching Women, Monique Govender stated, “Reaching Women is an organisation that seeks to empower women, childrenand families by helping them to be the best they can be in all areas for their lives. With this in mind, one of our projects for this month is to provide help with the assistance of lawyers to the community at large, to do their wills at no charge.

Having one’s Will done creates a sense of comfort and peace of mind of knowing that one’s assets and belongings are takencare of and passed onto the rightful heirs, thus bringing security to the whole family. We encourage members ofthe community to grab this opportunity and avail themselves between 17 and18 November where our lawyers will be in attendance to help them with their Wills,” said Govender.

“Members of the public are advised to bring along a copy of their identity document, a copy of the identity document of the person to be appointed as an executor and copies of identity documents of heir and beneficiaries.

All Wills will be completed and handed over to applicants immediately,” added Govender.

The programme will take place at the Sastri Park Secondary School Hall, 235 Trenance Park Drive, Phoenix on Friday, 17 November and at Truth and Life Ministries Church (corner of Main and Trenance Park Drive) on Saturday, 18 November from 8am to 1pm on both days.
